How It Works:
The unit is installed into the trailer and can be connected up to a cab or tractor unit, so it runs from the main vehicle power.
As soon as the trailer is disconnected, the device uses its own battery power to report its location.
You can track and monitor a standalone trailer for up to 3 months from its internal battery. But battery life varies depending on how frequently you need data from the device
